PLAN BENEFITS

With our PLASTIC + PAPER Membership, we offer curbside recycling for items like:

PAPER

BLUE BIN

All kinds of paper and cardboard:
Dead file, newspaper, magazines, books, packing carton, etc.

PLASTIC

BLUE BIN

Rigid Plastics (#1-7, empty, clean or rinsed), except Styrofoam and plastic film/bags.

Some materials we DO NOT RECEIVE are:
Plastic bags, flat glass, laminated paper, contaminated materials, organic matter, wood, textiles, refrigerators, televisions, storage tapes

HOW IT WORKS

Materials must be at the curb by 8:30 a.m. (except during summer, when collection will begin at 8:00 a.m.). Residents may put bags out as early as 4 p.m. on the day before your scheduled collection.

· Materials not placed in bags will no longer be picked up. 

 

· Make sure that the bag weighs less than 50 pounds.

 

· For bulky items, please schedule a pick up one week in advance.

Aluminum cans, metal food cans, aluminum wrappers, tin foil.

RECYCLING WITH US

COLLECTION FREQUENCY

Residential recycling is collected once per month (for residence with +10 inhabitants or non-residential service, contact us directly)

PLACEMENT

Make sure access to bin(s) is not blocked by vehicles, objects, or overhanging tree limbs.

MISSED COLLECTION

If your BLUE or RED bin is not serviced on your regular collection day, call CUSTOMER SERVICE immediately.

BIN STORAGE

The QUEVAS Solid Waste Management Department suggests that residents store bins in a garage or backyard on non-service days.

BIN REPLACEMENT
If your bin is damaged, contact CUSTOMER SERVICE for repairs or replacements. QUEVAS will repair minor damage from normal use. Any bin with damages as a result of abuse or neglect by the property owner will be replaced at a charge of $3499 MXN per bin.
